BeFunky Express App Reviews

Not worth the money

What a waste of my money…. This app is so overpriced compared to the little amount of features you get… These features can be found on almost every free editor app/tool and they don´t even work as good as on the free tools that I´ve already tried… Use picmonkey or pixlr instead. This app here is just a waste of your money and time!

Can’t Zoom?

Can’t zoom into the pic? seems nuts.

Thought it was the same app as on my iPhone

I’m a little bit disappointed. There are no special features in this app, only the basics. Express? well I don’t think it’s worth 7$ and you have like 15% of the original app (which is not available on app store for mac) :(

Add zoom and preview button

Please, add zoom and preview button.

Terrible App / Terrible Service

App is buggy. Support is non-existent. Don’t waste your money.

Very Buggy

Tooth and eye whitening leave digital garbage on black surfaces. If it decides to work as intended, then it’s quite handy, but you never know what it’s going to do when you save the changes you’ve made. You’ll find yourself constantly hitting the “Revert to Original” button after working to improve an image.

Cant update from BeFunky Express 2.1 to 2.1.5

Ive been trying to update from version 2.1 purchased through the Mac App Store to the present version 2.1.5 but all I ever get is the spinning gear. Ive tried to leave a message on the support site but it wont ever allow me to submit the request.

Tried twice, crashed twice.

Fed it a tiny JPEG. Applied an effect then painted a second. App crashed. Relaunched. Fed it a tiny JPEG. Applied an effect then painted a second. Entire system locked up so hard I had to use the power button to restart. I am frankly afraid to give it a third chance.

Nothing super usefull, just a simple brush based highlighting

This software highly relies on brushes that need to be used to select region, later it does nothing more then dodge and burn. Region detection is rather poor. Tried it on couple images and deleted. Shadow recovery is rather poor as it it color posterization, and all just increases saturation, that looks wierd and unnatural

Stupid Awesome!!!

The skin smoothing effect alone is worth paying for!! This program is so easy to use. I can’t believe that it is free.

Ok so far.. but zoom?

I really want a skin smoothing extension to finally be able to use photos instead of aperture. Thier tool seems to do the job but, unfortunately, I can’t seem to be able to zoom in on the image to apply the smoothing. I’m left using a tiny brush on a tiny face and when reviewing my work in photos when i’m finished, the innacuracies of the tool I’m forced to use are obvious. Wy can’t I zoom in on the image to edit it?? With a zoom my rating would jump to 4 stars as it would fufill a glaring need in my workflow with photos.

Not A Bad Portrait Touch Up Piece of Software for free

This is not a bad piece of software for touching up portraits. A few things I would love to see in this software. 1. I have a magic mouse and it would be nice if you could change the size of the brush by swiping the magic mouse up or down. 2. To be able to see the changes in real time as you move the slider rather than waiting for it to update after you move the sliders. 3. After you do make an adjustment and are finished you have to hit the apply button.. 4. Before and after views 5. You have no control of white balance, saturation, sharpening..etc. But for it being free, its not to bad

crashing

the app keeps crashing while

No zoom, really?

This app is okay - but, a photo editing app without zoom just doesn’t cut it. A side by side comparison, or click to preview a before and after would also be a great addition. Then again, this app is free - so, you get what you pay for, right?

Can’t complain too much for a free app...

But this app seriously needs a better icon. Just changing the white square background to a white circle background would make it less ugly.

Please Add Zoom!

This app would be great if you could zoom in on the picture in order to apply the changes you are making. This app would be a 5 stars rating if you added this one feature, but as for now, I’ll have to leave my rating to 2 stars.

Wanted a Teeth Whitener and Found Way More

I’ve used Facetune and Photo Lab on my iPhone and iPad for some time to clean up people shots. On my Mac, I’ve had Pixelmator, Topaz and the MacPhun Suite. On the iPad I can edit with ease. On my Mac, it has taken quite a bit of work. Finally, I’ve discovered BeFunky as an easy way to subtly improve complexions, skin tones and teeth. Ah, such ease and power. This is a well done app once you get accustomed to it’s different interface using sliders. This is the best I’ve found for dealing with the everyday challenges of making people look a bit better without making them look like they’ve been to a bad plastic surgeon.

Zoom...

How can you retouch anything and not be able to zoom in? Needs lots of work.

It Crashes

Works excellent as iPhoto extension. IT appears when you use the Eye White function, the app crashes. IT if fun to use, but that is not funny. Worst of all, you can be working after a long time, and then every change is lost.

Useless

No zoom or features even a basic editor doesn’t already offer. And they have the nerve to charge 5 bucks? Nobody should be wasting time or money with this trash app.
